I hear you. So you are a skateboarder now, a fanatic at some level, a thrasher armed with several stunts and board tricks already, and then you ask, “What now?”
I suggest that you do the following: join competitions (I hope you make it to the Xtreme Games), recruit a friend and convert him/her to become a skateboarder too, pass on your skills (teach other skateboarders how you do your tricks and make it look so easily, especially the newbies), try snakeboarding (a variation of skateboarding invented in the 90's where you can glide without having to kick the floor), or shift to surfing and eventually love the outdoors.
Skateboarding has its own attachment to the city life, the street life, and urban settings. Shifting from skateboarding to surfing will eventually make you a more responsible person as you start to love the outdoors.
Or best, you can give back what skateboarding has given you and help make skateboarding a movement. Now where did this come from? Not all countries have the same respect for skateboarding. It is banned in several countries worldwide. So helping in the movement to legalize it may take a large ounce of maturity from you. Skateboarding is a culture, let no one destroy it. Pick up your board, be loud, and shout: “Legalize it!”
